Dr. Parineeta Sachdeva heads the ophthalmology unit at Baweja Multispeciality Hospital. She began her vitreoretinal career at Sohana Eye Hospital and has spent close to sixteen years in dedicated retina practice since, managing a large volume of complex retinal disease alongside routine and complicated cataract surgery.
She has eight papers published in national and international journals, and runs a charitable initiative providing eye care to patients with diabetic eye disease who cannot otherwise afford treatment.

With over 19 years as a consultant ophthalmologist and more than 20,000 cataract surgeries performed, Dr. Varun Baweja leads the hospital’s eye service. He was the first surgeon in India certified for four MIGS devices, and works across the full range of laser vision correction.
He runs the comprehensive ophthalmology clinics — cataract, glaucoma, medical retina, oculoplastics, paediatric ophthalmology and squint — assessing and treating patients of every age, and drawing on the unit’s visiting superspecialists where a procedure calls for it.
