For candidates beginning their phaco journey, with focus on surgical principles, phaco machine understanding, fluidics, incision planning, capsulorhexis concepts, nucleus management fundamentals and complication awareness.
Best for ophthalmologists or senior residents moving from SICS or observation to phaco training. Indian eligibility: MBBS with MS / DNB / DO Ophthalmology, or ophthalmology resident status with institutional permission. Valid NMC / State Medical Council registration or provisional eligibility as applicable.
For candidates with prior cataract surgery exposure who want refinement in complex case planning, advanced phaco strategies, premium IOL decision-making, complication handling and independent surgical confidence.
Best for practising ophthalmologists with previous cataract surgery exposure. Indian eligibility: MBBS with MS / DNB / DO Ophthalmology and valid NMC / State Medical Council registration. Prior SICS or phaco experience preferred; surgical exposure details may be requested before enrolment.
A one-year programme for broad-based ophthalmology strengthening across OPD evaluation, cataract work-up, clinical decision-making, emergency eye care, subspecialty exposure and supervised hospital practice.
